Welcome to www.afchtraining.com (the “Website”), operated by Florida AFCH Training (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using this Website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Website or services.

1. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Website for lawful purposes only.

You must not:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or our systems
Use the Website in a way that may disrupt our services or the experience of other users

2. Training & Certification Services
Florida AFCH Training provides educational content and certification courses for individuals seeking to operate Adult Family Care Homes in Florida. It is your responsibility to verify with the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) or relevant state agencies that our training meets the requirements for your specific situation.

3. Payment & Refund Policy

All course fees must be paid in full at the time of registration unless otherwise stated. Due to the nature of online training and course preparation, no refunds will be issued for completed certification trainings or for participants who fail to attend a scheduled training.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to limited class capacity, enrollment in the course secures a reserved seat in the training program. This reservation removes the seat from general availability and may restrict the ability to offer that space to other participants. A $150 cancellation fee or no refund policy is applied to reflect administrative processing, course preparation, and the allocation of a reserved training seat.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email. The date and time stamp of the email will serve as verification of when the request was received.

Cancellations made more than 10 calendar days prior to the initial class date:
A $150 cancellation fee will be deducted from the registration payment and the remaining balance will be refunded.
Cancellations made within 10 calendar days of the initial class date:
No refunds will be issued.
Missed trainings:
Participants who fail to attend a scheduled training without prior cancellation will not be eligible for a refund. A one-time transfer to a future class date within 90 days will be applied.

SUBSTITUTIONS (one person replacing another)

A substitution can be made up to 3 days prior to the class date. Only the person who physically attends class will receive certification. The substitute must provide their name and contact information no later than 3 days prior to the class date or they will not be permitted to attend the class.

REFUND METHOD

Any refund due will be issued using the same method of payment originally used for the registration. For payments made by credit or debit card, the refund will be applied to the same card used for the transaction. Refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days from the date the refund request is received via email.

CLASS CANCELLATION
If a class is cancelled due to lack of participation or instructor emergency – registrants will be notified by email and/or by phone. The registrant will be given a choice of a refund or class transfer. If the registrant is not available and there is no response by the end of the business day of the notification or they are indecisive as to what class they would like to transfer to, a refund will automatically be made.

NO REFUNDS; NO PRORATION of EXTENDED SERVICES

The Select and Deluxe packages offered by FL AFCH Training include bundled educational and extended consulting services made available to the participant for the duration of the applicable service period. Participant acknowledges and agrees that access to such services constitutes full availability of the services, regardless of the extent to which the Participant elects to utilize them.

All fees paid for Select and Deluxe packages are non-refundable and non-proratable. No refunds, credits, or fee adjustments shall be issued for any services that are not used, not scheduled, declined, forfeited, or otherwise not fully utilized by the Participant for any reason.

FL AFCH Training shall not be held liable for the Participant’s failure to engage in, schedule, or complete any portion of the included services, including but not limited to consultations, application support, inspections walkthroughs, or supplemental guidance.

By enrolling in a Select or Deluxe package, the Participant expressly waives any right to a refund, partial refund, or proration of fees based on non-use or partial use of services.

This provision shall survive termination or completion of services.

4. Intellectual Property
All materials provided through this Website—including text, video, graphics, handouts, and course content—are the property of Florida AFCH Training and may not be copied, distributed, modified, or reused without prior written permission.

5. Third-Party Links
This Website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience, and we do not endorse or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or policies of those websites.

6. Account Security
If you create an account on our Website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

7. Limitation of Liability
AFCH Training is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of this Website, including but not limited to training outcomes, certification delays, or regulatory misunderstandings.
